MeetScribe is a cross-platform application that helps users transcribe and analyze audio recordings to create structured documents from meetings, interviews, and conferences.

Information We Collect

We collect and use the following limited personal information:

• Email address (for account creation and management)
• Display name/pseudonym (for user interface personalization)
• Purchase history (for subscription management)
• Audio recordings (for transcription and analysis services)
• Calendar data (only to create a relevant title during recording)
• Location data (only to create a relevant title during recording)

How We Use Your Information

Your personal information is used solely for:

• Account authentication
• Displaying your chosen pseudonym in the application
• Essential communication regarding your account
• Managing your subscription status
• Processing your audio recordings for transcription and analysis
• Creating relevant titles for your recordings (using calendar and location data)

Data Storage and Protection

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your limited personal information. The audio files you upload through our application are stored securely for a maximum of 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted. Generated transcriptions and analyses are kept for a maximum of 365 days. Your audio recordings are processed in a secure environment and we do not retain them longer than necessary for providing our services. Calendar and location data are used only at the time of creating the recording title and are not stored by our application.

Audio and Transcription Processing

When you use our service:

• Your audio files are processed by our system to improve quality (noise reduction) before transcription
• Transcription is performed using AI models that convert speech to text
• Analysis is performed on the transcribed text to generate summaries and structured documents
• We do not share your audio or transcribed content with third parties for commercial purposes

Quota and Subscription Management

Our application monitors your usage to ensure compliance with subscription quotas:

• We track the total time of processed audio
• This data is used solely for managing your subscription
• You can view your remaining quota directly in the application

Third-Party Services

Our application uses:

• AWS Bedrock and Whisper models for transcription and analysis. No personal data beyond the necessary audio content is shared with these services.
• RevenueCat for subscription management. RevenueCat processes your purchase history to validate and manage your subscription. For more information about how RevenueCat handles your data, please refer to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Request a copy of your data
• Delete your specific recordings and transcriptions at any time
